Why Set Up Your Payment Method?

To receive your earnings on Owode Marketplace, you must add and verify your payment details. This ensures that your withdrawals are processed securely and without delays.

Where to Find Payment Settings?

Usually, you are required to setup your payment method when creating a seller profile at registration. However, navigate to your payment settings below

  • Go to Your Dashboard → Log in to Owode Marketplace.
  • Navigate to Settings → Click on Settings > Payment in your Seller Dashboard.
  • Add Payment Method → Choose from the available withdrawal options.

Available Payment Methods

Sellers can withdraw their earnings using bank transfers. More payment options will be added soon. 

Adding a Bank Account for Withdrawals

To receive payments via bank transfer, follow these steps:

  1. Click “Add Payment Method”
  2. Select Bank Transfer
  3. Fill in the required details:
    • Account Holder Name (Your legal business name or personal name)
    • Account Type (Business or Personal)
    • Account Number
    • Routing Number: (Leave it blank if you are selling in Nigeria. Only applicable to International Sellers)
    • Bank Name
    • Bank Address
    • IBAN (Leave it blank if you are selling in Nigeria. Only applicable to International Sellers)
    • Swift Code (Leave it blank if you are selling in Nigeria. Only applicable to International Sellers)
  4. Check the authorization box confirming ownership of the bank account.
  5. Click “Save”

💡 Tip: Double-check all details to avoid withdrawal delays.

Managing Your Payment Method

If you ever need to update or remove your bank account:

  1. Go to Settings > Payment
  2. Click Manage next to your saved payment method.
  3. Edit the necessary details and Save Changes.

  • Ensure that your account name matches your bank records to prevent delays.
  • Withdrawals may take 1-3 business days to process.

🔹 Can I use someone else’s bank account?

No, the bank account must belong to you or your registered business to avoid compliance issues.

Withdrawal schedules are determined based on your seller account status. Check your dashboard for withdrawal availability.

If a withdrawal fails due to incorrect details, update your payment settings and try again.
