We’ve introduced an exciting new chat feature on Owode Marketplace to make communication between buyers and sellers seamless!
How It Works
1. Access the Chat:
- Buyers are eligible to initiate conversation with sellers
- For Sellers, Go to the Live Chat section of your Seller Command Center ( Dashboard) to respond to a conversation.
- Buyers can message sellers directly from the product page or the seller’s store page.
2. Instant Messaging:
- Chat in real-time without leaving the platform.
- Exchange details about orders, product availability, and pricing.
- Stay Secure:
- All chats are monitored to ensure safe and professional interactions.
- Payment discussions should stay within the platform to ensure buyer and seller protection.
3. Stay Secure:

Final Checklist Before Engaging in Chat
Sharing of personal or payment details is strictly prohibited.
Buyers are advised to not agree to make payment outside of the marketplace.
Buyers protection can only be ensured if the chat stays within the marketplace
