We’ve introduced an exciting new chat feature on Owode Marketplace to make communication between buyers and sellers seamless!

How It Works

1. Access the Chat:

    • Buyers are eligible to initiate conversation with sellers
    • For Sellers, Go to the Live Chat section of your Seller Command Center ( Dashboard) to respond to a conversation.
    • Buyers can message sellers directly from the product page or the seller’s store page.

2. Instant Messaging:

    • Chat in real-time without leaving the platform.
    • Exchange details about orders, product availability, and pricing.

    • All chats are monitored to ensure safe and professional interactions.
    • Payment discussions should stay within the platform to ensure buyer and seller protection.

✅ Final Checklist Before Engaging in Chat

✔ Sharing of personal or payment details is strictly prohibited.
✔ Buyers are advised to not agree to make payment outside of the marketplace.
✔ Buyers protection can only be ensured if the chat stays within the marketplace
